ISPOR Patient Representative Travel Grant

ISPOR Travel Grants were established to support attendance for eligible patient representatives (patients, their caregivers, or representatives from patient organizations) to attend Society's conferences and summits.

Package Inclusions

  • Registration to ISPOR 2024
  • up to $750 USD travel reimbursement, per the ISPOR Travel Reimbursement Policy

Eligibility

 

  • Meet criteria of “patient representative” as outlined on the ISPOR website including:

    • Represent a 501(c)(3) organization (in the US), non-profit status, charitable, or a non-governmental organization with a mission to:

      • Combat a particular disease, disability, or group of diseases/disabilities or
      • Improve and protect the health of a particular group of people
    • Engage in programs, such as, research, education, advocacy, and service to individuals and communities
    • Able to provide patient perspectives relevant to health policy, health technology assessment, and/or research and development (ie clinical trials, therapy development, etc.)
    • Able to provide patient perspectives relevant to health policy, health technology assessment, and/or research and development (ie clinical trials, therapy development, etc.)
  • NOT be a student [Note: Students may apply for the ISPOR Student Travel Grant]
  • NOT be employed by a health technology producer (biopharmaceutical, medical device, or diagnostic companies)
